By default, there are 2 action statuses—Open and Closed.
These are explained below:
Open
An action may be Open, i.e., it needs to be attended to. The admin has to assign it to a user, so that they can perform the required task to address the Action.
This is the default status for an action as soon as it is created.
Closed
An action may be Closed, i.e., it has been resolved. The assigned user has performed the necessary task, and they have marked the status as Closed.
However, if the Admin or user is not satisfied with the result of that action, they can re-open the Action by changing the status label on web or mobile.
To check the available Action Status options, click on Settings in the left navigation bar and select the Action Status tab.
Note that Open will always be the first status, and Closed will always be the last status.
You can create new action statuses, if you want more statuses for Actions as they progress from one state of completion to another until they are resolved.
Enter the desired name for your status, and click on Save.
You will notice that the newly created status has been placed between the Open and Closed labels. This is because Open will always be the first status, and Closed will always be the last status.
To modify a status label, click on the pencil icon at the right side of that label. You can enter the desired name in the dialog box that appears.
You can delete an action status if it is no longer required. Simply click on the trashcan icon on the right side of that label. In the dialog box that appears, select the Delete button to confirm.
