Schedule Audits

While creating an audit, you will have the option to enable Scheduling of the audit. When enabled, you will obtain further options for setting up the audit's schedule in the Schedule tab on your Create Audit page.

These options are described in detail below.

You have to select a Start Date and End Date for Scheduled Audits.


You can also set the frequency of the audit, i.e., the number of times the audit has to be performed.

Following are the different types of options available under Frequency of Audit.

Fixed-Interval

Choose the number of days between audits as the interval.


Select Time of Audit, which is the time at which the audit should be scheduled—Period, Anytime, or Specific, as explained below.
  1. PeriodThis will allow you to choose a time slot (using start and end times) within which the users have to finish an audit.
  2. AnytimeWith this option, the audit can be filled at any time between the start and end dates.
  3. SpecificA specific time of the day has to be entered when the audit form will be available for the users.
Note: The Time of Audit options available are the same for all the different audit frequencies.
Select the desired Time of Audit, and enter the required timings if applicable, and click on Create.

Monthly

This option allows you to set the monthly schedule for audits.

First, choose the number of audits that should be performed in a month.

Next, choose on which days the audit should be scheduled, the options are explained below:

  • Anyday of the month—Users can perform the audit on any day of the month.

  • Between days—For each audit, choose a day slot (using desired start and end days of a week), within which the users have to finish each audit.


  • Specific Days—Select the specific dates of the month (between 1st to 31st, as applicable for that month) when you want the audit to be performed, by clicking on the date numbers.


  • Specific weekdays—Select which week of the month and on which day each audit should be performed. E.g., You can set an audit to be performed in the first week of each month on Wednesday. You can also set an audit to be performed in any week of the month but on a specific day.


Finally, select the Time of Audit and enter the required timings if applicable, and click on Create.

Weekly

This option allows you to set the weekly schedule for audits.

It is very similar to the Monthly schedule option.


First, choose the number of audits that should be performed in a week.

Next, choose on which days the audit should be scheduled, the options are:

  • Anyday of the Week

  • Between Days

  • Specific Days

Finally, select the Time of Audit and enter the required timings if applicable, and click on Create.

One-Off

This option allows the users to fill the audit only once on each day between the start and end dates.

Next, select the Time of Audit and enter the required timings if applicable, and click on Create.


Daily

Here, you can specify the number of audits in a day, and the different days of the week when the audit is supposed to be filled. Click on the desired day initials (M is for Monday, T is for Tuesday, and so on) to select them.


Next, select the Time of Audit and enter the required timings if applicable, and click on Create.
