When creating an audit, you can enable the External Audit option, allowing even those users who are not registered on Auditflo, to perform the audit by scanning a unique QR code generated for the audit.
The External Audits feature promotes broader engagement, transparency, and convenience in your auditing workflow.
To create an external audit, click on the + New Audit button on the Audits page. A New Audit window will open.
Under the General Information tab, provide a suitable Name for the audit, and select the Checklist that should be used for performing this audit.
Then, click on the External Audit toggle switch, to enable the feature.
You will not have to specify which Roles or Users can access the audit.
You will not be able to Schedule the audit (i.e., you cannot set specific time intervals/days for performing the audit). You will only be able to choose the start and end dates within which the audit should be active.
You will only have to select the report format for the audit when you click on the Next button, and click on Create.
On the Audits page (accessible from the left navigation bar), go to the External tab (the All tab will be selected by default).
This tab displays all the External Audits.
Access the External Audits tab, as described in the previous section.
On the right side of each audit, you will find two options: Copy URL and Download QR. Both are described below.
The download option enables you to download the audit's QR code.
Now, you can share this image/PDF file to distribute the audit to desired users. They will be able to access and start filling out the audit from the web browser on their device.
There you go! You know all about External Audits.
